Hello! Welcome to this new blog. This time I will talk about my favorite piece of technology: the cell phone. The cell phone is a fundamental tool for my life. With this piece of technology, I can communicate, be entertained and informed, and that's why it's my favorite piece of technology. In addition, it is an easy piece to transport and manipulate. I can use it wherever I go! My cell phone simplifies my life: it allows me to feel closer to my loved ones who are far away, it makes it easier for me to carry out certain academic activities of my university degree, it keeps me entertained in moments of rest. It has several applications, which also allows me to use it as an alarm clock, timer, or music player. Hello! My name is Yamila Balbontin. I was born in Santiago de Chile, where I have lived all my life with my family. I am currently a Dentistry student at the University of Chile. My family consists of my father, my mother, my sister, and my brother, as well as my pets: two cats, a dog, and a guinea pig. This is a photo with my cats:) Whenever I can I listen to music, I really like to enjoy my playlist on the way home, to the university or while I do my homework. I love music, so a while ago I decided to learn to play the guitar, but it has been a bit difficult for me since I am studying a university degree that requires a lot of time. I really like watching series. My favorites are comedy series, in fact, my favorite series is “The Office”. I am currently looking at a call “How I Met Your Mother”, I highly recommend it!
